Fully Managed Service

The remotely managed service combines highly responsive support via a remote access solution (either existing or dedicated), backed up with regular site visits for engineering as well as technical and service review meetings.

You'll get access to standard email and telephone support (8 x 5), hardware and software maintenance and the option of having access to an on-site engineer. We also offer the option of access to our 24 x 7 technical support team if required.

At Shield IT Solutions we appreciate that not everybody wants to outsource their IT support, but in the current economic climate financial constraints can leave resources stretched and a little extra help maybe required at times. Maybe you are just looking for the reassurance that you have access to technical expertise to help solve difficult problems, or to provide a backup to your existing staff. Companies that use Shield IT Solutions for this service get guaranteed access to a consultant within an agreed time period.
Working closely with your existing IT team we complement your support capabilities delivering a highly skilled and highly motivated service to match. Whether you choose to call upon us when you have a tricky problem that requires additional skills or to provide cover due to high workloads, sickness or holiday, we have a range of options to suit.
If you'd prefer to purchase days up front or pay a fixed monthly service change we can help. With the up-front service, a number of consultancy days are purchased and can be called off and used at any point over a 12 month period. Each consultancy day is equivalent to 7.5 hours of effort.
With the fixed monthly service charge option you'll get an agreed number of consultancy days per month to use. You have the option of on-site support or remote consultancy.
Whichever approach you take we stay in regular contact with your IT team to ensure we stay up to date with changes in your infrastructure; this can include site visits if required.
